Finding your machine Serial Number

Finding the model and serial number of your PC will vary depending on the form factor of the machine. Most times the model will be located on the front of the machine. In the case of Laptops, more often than not the serial information is on the bottom. On desktops it can be either the back, top, or sides. The following images are a few examples.

Finding your machine specs

Open the Windows File Explorer located either on the task bar or on the side of the start menu.

Step 2

On the left side of the explorer, right click on This PC, then click on Properties.
