The Brightlink 595wi is capable of using touch in two modes, PC Interactive and PC Free Annotation. To switch between these two modes, press “Mode” on the Crestron panel.

PC Interactive Mode
With the use of a standard USB printer cable, the presenter can take control of their laptop or desktop computer while standing at the board. This mode is useful for minimizing back and forth travel between screen and computer. The presenter can navigate their computer with ease or go through their presentation with out loosing the engagement of their audience.
This function will not work through Wireless Network Projection
 
PC Free Annotation
The Annotation mode of the Brightlink 595wi allows you to illustrate on the board without use of special pens or markers. In this mode the presenter can mark-up or highlight anything presented on the board using the visual tool bar shown below. To access the toolbar touch the inward facing arrow side-menu-arrow-1 from the sides of the board.

Annotation selection: Choose between your projected screen OR a plain white surface.
Undo & Redo arrows: Step backwards or forwards in case of mistakes.
Lines & grids: Shows up only on the white board tab ( second tab). Touch to select a blank space, ruled lines or a grid.
Pen: Touch the down arrow to select line thickness and many colors.
Highlighter: Touch the down arrow line thickness and many colors.
Quick access markers: Black, Red and Blue. Touch either of the two circles to select a size.
Spot eraser: Touch either of the two circles to select a size.
Clear all: When selected, will ask if you want to erase the entire board.
Active input indicators: Indicators that show what input the board is receiving.
Pin: Down – will keep the tool bar open while you illustrate.
Up – will close the tool bar when you begin to illustrate.
Collaps: Manually close the toolbar.
